The mid doors peek on Dust2 is probably the most known sniper angle in the game. Fnatic knew they could afford more AWP’s to increase their chances of getting an entry.
They chose to do this strat when the enemy team had to force buy. Meaning if Fnatic wins the round - it would plummet Envy’s economy and their chances of making a comeback.
Spending an extra 10 seconds in spawn to turn it into a 5v4 situation is definitely worth it. It's these unexpected plays that can make or break a match.

The best match I have ever watched. Round after round something amazing happened that would leave the audience and shoutcasters flabbergasted 😲.
The great thing about these clips is that they pulled them off in overtime. They didn’t rush or give away their sneaky strat, they persevered until the right opportunity came along and made it work.
4. Molotov Party with NRG vs FaZe Clan 🔥
In the heat of the moment, players may panic or feel pressured to make a solo play. That said, NRG played it perfectly - dropping consecutive molotovs and completely stopping FaZe Clan from retaking the site.
Buying time for the bomb to explode has always been a crucial skill in Search and Destroy. It’s even more effective when they buy time for their teammate to flank around and get a pick.
5. The Bait - Vitality vs Renegades 🐟
It’s important to give your teammates opportunities to play hero. Which is exactly what Gratisfaction did with jks. He decided to throw up his own gun and trust his teammate to seize the round.
What's even more impressive is how quickly he made that decision to bunny hop under the balcony and make shox think jks dropped down. That slight hesitation gave jks the advantage to win that fight and then jks returned the favour by covering his teammate whilst planting the bomb 👏.
